Turkey Hunting 101

First rule of a sucessful turkey hunt: you must have trukey tracks to follow.

Second rule: bring a camera so you can still legally “shoot” them in the off season.

Third rule: I don’t know, is there one, don’t ya just kinda point and shoot?

My neighbor that lives to the South is a really neat lady. I love driving through her property on my way home, as often times you will see her horses out grazing. They might as well be wild horses, as they openly graze on hundreds of acres of rim rock, and they are absolutely goregous. I mention my neighbor because her mom was a well know watercolor artist in this area years ago before she passed away, and is actually still well known of today. Below is a picture that she painted of our barn years ago:
